My journey of learning to use multimedia and single media to teach has been
pretty good so far. The only thing that I felt is that for images, text, and
audio portion of my instruction was one lesson, then I changed it to a
different lesson for video instruction. This made me have to merge in two
different lessons in one instruction even though both was related to each other
'complex cognitive theory'. I have learned that fact putting four instruction
into a single media perspective is pretty challenging especially if it contains
two different lessons of course.
I pretty much think that the whole multimedia instructions are very important parts of teaching and learning. Benefit especially for the youngsters. Keep track of documents on computer drives rather than having to keep up with papers, etc. In the 21st century, the technology is advanced that it is way better to teach and learn in computers and all. This is one of the key concepts with technology. Also, in the workplace, keeping track on patient charts and notes, etc. Not only images, text, audio, and video are the best ways to teach but also through creating games and other activity will also benefit in teaching and learning these days.
“People learn more deeply from words and graphics than from words alone. This assertion can be called the multimedia principle, and it forms the basis for using multimedia instruction (Mayer, 2009).”
“Computer-based guidance that involves the use of diverse types of media, such as presentations, Web-based guides and online tutorials, in order to convey an instructional message.” (igi-global.com)
I still like to learn how the architects use this kind of media for their career?
No, it still not hazy!
